In an effort to increase traveler satisfaction and comfort, Delta recently added ‘Sky Decks’ to their list of services. Opening first in JFK International Airport and in the international terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the new Sky Decks offer a new take on the typical airline lounge usually found in a windowless room and are situated on the roofs of the airports in the open air. This provides a nice change of pace if a traveler has just spent several hours cooped up in a plane or busy airport terminal.
The new decks consists of living room style seating, inviting greenery and decor, and even convenient power outlets that are great for getting any last minute work done before take-off or during a long layover. The Sky Decks also include occasional stretched out canvas awnings to provide shaded areas to those who don’t want too much sun.
This is a wonderful new service that frequent travelers and businessmen are sure to enjoy. It’s great to see Delta taking an effort to put the comfort of it’s travelers first, much like we here at Boston Corporate Coach strive for every day. As usual, your comfort and satisfaction is always our priority.
