With so many businesses becoming international, travel has become a vital part of the business world.
A report by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) recently released stated that, companies and individuals will spend over 1 trillion dollars on business trips this year. This is the most ever spent in comparison to previous years and the number is expected to keep going up in the years to come.
Michael W. McCormick, GBTA executive director and COO, was previously quoted stating that, “This report shows that new opportunities are opening up in markets around the world for companies willing to invest in business travel to drive growth”.
Boston Corporate Coach seized the opportunity and took it when they purchased a Hong Kong company in July.
By expanding their market globally, Boston Corporate Coach should be able to seize the opportunity to profit from the fact that China is expected to surpass the US in money spent on business travel in 2016.
It is also expected that China will also replace the US as the largest business travel market in the world during that same year.
